The Editorial Destellos catalog is aimed mainly at children and youth. We do not publish textbooks, technical books or self-help books. We request that those interested in sending us publication proposals please first familiarize themselves with our mission and work.

Editorial Destellos accepts unpublished manuscripts through calls that are published annually. The call for 2023 will take place from June 5, 2023 with a deadline for submission of July 31, 2023.

Guidelines for submitting manuscripts:

• Authors must be 18 years or older to participate.
• Manuscripts must be written in Spanish, unpublished and without prior publication.
• Documents in Word or PDF will be accepted.
• The maximum length should be 500-1,000 words for album books and 0-100 words for board books.
• Manuscripts should be sent to editorialdestellospr@gmail.com.
• Entries from authors of any nationality are accepted.
• We are currently only accepting manuscripts for album books and board books, appropriate for a children's audience from newborn to 8 years of age.
• Unless the author is also an illustrator, please send the writing without illustrations.
• Editorial Destellos reserves the right to choose the illustrative artist whose style best benefits the work, if selected.
• Up to two entries per author will be considered.
